Troubleshooting
"License status: Inactive" after entering my code
- Double-check there are no extra spaces before or after the code.
- Click Re-check license now on the settings page.
- Check the Last error message just below the status banner — it tells you exactly why validation failed.
Last error: not_found
The code doesn't match any code in our system. Make sure you copied it exactly from the email.
Last error: expired
The code's validity window has passed. Contact us to renew or get a new code.
Last error: site_mismatch
This code is already bound to a different domain. Codes lock to the first site that activates them. Email support to release the binding.
Last error starts with network_error
Your WordPress server can't reach absplitbot.com. Check your firewall / outbound HTTPS rules. Your existing license state is preserved in the meantime.
The shortcode isn't rendering
- Confirm the license shows Active in Settings → AB Split bot.
- Make sure you're using the shortcode block (not a code/HTML block) and that the test ID is correct.
- Some page builders strip shortcodes — try a default Gutenberg page first to confirm.
I see the test as admin but visitors don't
That admin-only red notice is shown when the license is inactive. As an admin you see the warning so you can fix it; visitors see nothing. Re-activate your license and the test will appear for everyone.
I want to move my license to a new site
Codes are bound to the first activating domain. Email support@absplitbot.com with your code and the new domain — we'll release the binding so you can re-activate on the new site.
Still stuck?
Reach us at support@absplitbot.com with your unlock code and the contents of the Last error field — that's almost always enough for us to spot the issue.
