Get started in 3 steps
- Download the .zip above and upload it in WordPress under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Click Activate Plugin, then go to Settings → AB Split bot and paste your unlock code.
- Add the shortcode
[absplitbot test_id="…"]to any page, using a test ID from your dashboard.

What WordPress versions are supported?
AB Split bot requires WordPress 6.0 or newer. It works with both the block editor and the Classic editor, and does not require any build step or Node.js on your server.
Do I need an unlock code to use the plugin?
The plugin is free to download and install. To activate unlimited tests and Pro features, paste your unlock code from your AB Split bot dashboard into Settings → AB Split bot. Without a code, the plugin runs in a limited free tier.
How do I add a test to a page?
Create the test in your AB Split bot dashboard, copy the test ID, then add the shortcode [absplitbot test_id="YOUR_ID"] to any WordPress page or post. The variant, votes, and discount handoff are handled automatically.
Can I use the plugin on multiple sites?
Each unlock code binds to the first site that activates it. Pro subscribers can generate additional codes from the Download page — one code per site.
What if activation fails?
The plugin re-validates the license daily. If activation errors persist, check that your site can reach absplitbot.com over HTTPS, then see the troubleshooting guide for common WordPress hosting issues.
